The Man Behind The Makeup:
Joe E. Brown, became known as
"The Master of the Bullwhip", during the 1950's and 60's
when he starred in a short lived series of
independently produced westerns under the banner of
StarDust Western Films.
Making his motion picture debut in a film called;
"TERROR TRAILS"
in 1955, at the age of eighteen.
He then went on to star in four more films that same year. These pictures were;
"Guns of the Pecos"
"Silver Canyon Outlaws"
"Trigger Trails"
and
"The Whip"
later in 1960 retitltd;
"The Ghost of the Whip"
for re-release to television.
