"A Cowboys Dream Comes True"

Joe E. Brown's studio, StarDust Western Films had written a very
hightly fictional bio for their new action star.   One of the many
claims was that he owned a large ranch in Texas.   This at the time
was a studio fabrication, but it was also one of Brown's dreams, and that
dream would come true thanks to an old and very dear friend
named Sam McCormick.

In the 1950s, when R. L. Reynolds formed his studio, Sam McCormick
was the man with the brains behind Brown's movies.
It was his job to
make sure that everything ran smooth.
Well to make a long story short, Sam and the young actor hit it off
very well and soon they were the best of friends.  In fact, Sam McCormick was a father figure, to Joe and the two kept
in contact with each other long after the making
of the films had ended and StarDust Western Films had folded.

It was in 1960, that Sam informed Joe that he had ran acress a nice ranch in Texas, that he would like him and his wife carol to take a look at.   Well they did and they liked the place very much.

Sam, who was now in his late 70's, with no family of his own made them a great deal.   A cowboys dream come true.   He would buy the ranch!      All that he wanted ln return from them was a place he could call home with his friends, and the only family he had.
